HIS 314 - Women in U.S. History (3)This course examines the ideas and experiences of women in the United States from the 1600s to the present. Attention is devoted to influence of both elite and marginalized women. In addition to reading a narrative historical account, students will examine and interrogate primary sources relating to women’s history, and gain experience in original research by conducting and analyzing an oral history interview to help answer a social science research question.
