MAT 350 - Mathematical Modeling (3)

This course is designed to foster the formulation and analysis of mathematical models. Mathematical tools include dimensional analysis, optimization, simulation, probability, and elementary differential equations. Applications of a variety of mathematical techniques will be addressed throughout the course using computational tools. Discrete and continuous models, theoretical and empirical models, deterministic and probabilistic models, and analytic and simulation models will be considered.

Prerequisite(s): MAT252 & MAT271
