HC 300 - Applied Statistics for Health Sciences (3)

An introduction to statistical methods for health sciences focusing on concepts and interpretation. Topics include the collection, classification, and presentation of descriptive data; the rationale of estimation and hypothesis testing; analysis of variance; analysis of contingency tables; correlation and regression analysis; sample size and power considerations.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 111 , MAT 119  or MAT 120
