THA 150 - Voice & Movement for the Actor (3)

Introduces students to the Linklater technique as it applies to the development and exploration of clear and effective speech (useful for stage, screen, voiceover, and everyday communication). Of primary focus is physical awareness, proper body alignment, tension/release, breath, vibration, the vocal channel, resonance and articulation. Additional units will incorporate dialect work, an introduction to voice over, and animation character creation.
