MUS 200 - Piano Technology (3)

Open to all students, preference is given to music majors and minors. This course not only teaches piano tuning, servicing, and repair but also the history and the development of the piano, the making of a Steinway grand piano and the servicing of electric pianos and harpsichords. Some attention is given to the theory and acoustics of stringed instruments.
