MHL 391 - Independent Study (3)

An introduction to the discipline of historical musicology and the techniques related to historical research in music. During this independent study the student will complete a major research and data- gathering project that will provide the basis for the student’s Senior Project, MHL 475.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of MHL 251, MHL 252, and at least one of the MHL 351-356 sequence of genre courses.
