MED 364 - Marching Band Methods (2)

Designed to prepare the instrumental music education major to organize and administer a marching band program in the secondary schools. The student will learn computer assisted charting techniques for marching drill design, participate in a planned field experience, and develop teaching skills through peer teaching. Students will explore the role of the marching band in the schools through a study of its history and the various philosophical positions related to the marching band.
