MED 360 - Instrumental Music Ed Methods (3)

This course prepares the future instrumental music educator to teach band and/or orchestra in a school music program. Students will develop skills in appropriate teaching techniques and strategies, create a file of appropriate materials and develop a personal philosophy of music education. The course will introduce a systematic recruitment and retention plan for the instrumental program. Students will also develop skills needed to administer a successful instrumental music program.
