HIS 352 - History of Latin America (3)

A study of the social, cultural and political institutions of Latin America from colonial days to the present. Particular attention will be given to the formation of Latin society during the colonial period, the impact of the revolutionary era and the attempts of the Latin American nations to achieve social, political and economic stability and progress in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
