EL 102 - American Cultures (3)

Introduces students to various aspects of American history and culture in order to develop more awareness and understanding as well as increase their cross-cultural communication skills. Field trips will be taken to local points of interest. The course is designed to help student acclimate to their new cultural environment and become familiar with American customs and culture. The course also provides context for practice in the foundational skills of English reading, writing, speaking and listening.
