EDG 576 - Arts & Humanities and Practical Living/Vocational in the Elementary Classroom (2)

Provides an overview of the content in arts, humanities, and practical living that teachers need in order to deliver the instruction and assess that content needed in the K5 grades. Some of the content included in these areas is music, drama, visual arts, dance, safety, careers, and health. Candidates will be presented this content through the Kentucky Academic Standards in the areas of arts and humanities and practical living and learn the methodology in these content areas for instructional design and assessment. This content will be viewed as a part of the curriculum of an elementary school program.
