EDA 200 - Introduction to Education (2)

An introduction to the historical and contemporary dynamics of education in America. Topics of study include the philosophies and theories of education, legal implications, teacher organizations, career opportunities, learning styles relevant to varying cultures, and the significance of participatory democracy. This introductory course includes opportunities for working with experienced teachers in school classrooms in the area of intended major.
