CHE 111 - Introductory Chemistry (3)

For non-science majors. Basic concepts of general, organic, and biological chemistry for non-science majors. Topics include electronic structure of atoms and molecules, periodicity of the elements, stoichiometry, states of matter, kinetics, equilibria, acids and bases, organic functional groups, stereochemistry, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and enzymes. CHE 111/CHE 113 satisfies Foundations requirement for science.

Prerequisite(s): Math test score of ACT 22/pre-2016 SAT 510 or new 2016 SAT 540, or MAT 118.
