BIO 213 - Microbiology Lab (1)Introduces students to the basic microbiological techniques used in the laboratory for the isolation, growth and/or identification of medically important bacteria, fungi and parasites. Special emphasis is placed on identifying “unknown” microbes, utilizing various morphological and biochemical tests. Experimental data is obtained to study the effects of selected physical and chemical factors on bacterial growth.
