Communication - Strategic Communication Concentration, B.A.

Communication majors concentrating in strategic communication learn the essential theories and practices of professional communication in corporate and organizational contexts, including strategic communication, public relations, communication agencies, social media platforms, crisis communication, and more. Students take courses and complete internships while learning and applying disciplines such as writing, video and photojournalism, graphic design, and emerging technologies, strengthening their storytelling ability to communicate effectively to any audience across media. Students also apply their skills in communication, design, marketing, and media in an agency setting through a practicum experience.
