MAT 125 - Mathematics for Health & Humanity (3)

This course prepares students with mathematical skills and statistical reasoning for professions that serve humanity. Topics include arithmetic, basic statistics, dimensional analysis, and measurement. Application of these core skills will be explored in the context of the health profession. Students will develop quantitative literacy and consider how statistics can improve care and promote health.

Prerequisite(s): Math test score of ACT 22, pre-2016 SAT 510, or new 2016 SAT 540, or transfer of MAT111 or MAT112
