EQ 260 - Starting Under Saddle - Western Performance (1)

This course focuses on the foundations of starting a young horse under saddle. The training focuses on preparing a young horse to be ridden using methods such as line-driving, lungeing, round penning, and wandering circles. The student will learn how to introduce a young horse to the rider’s cues from the ground and while mounted at the walk and trot.
