An overview of the theology of John Wesley with a special emphasis on his approach to ministry and innovation. It explains the shift in Protestant values and practices initiated by the Wesleys in the early Methodist movement while weighing the use of liberal arts throughout Methodist history. Various ministries are examined for ingenuity and effectiveness, such as evangelism, church growth, preaching, discipleship, and small groups.
