UNA 475 - General Studies Senior Seminar: Making Your Education Work (1)This course will be a one credit seminar focused on helping students reflect on their academic journey at Asbury University with the goal of exploring possible career/life paths that resonate with courses taken, strengths/skills, interests, and goals. Possible course activities include: strengths/skills assessment (i.e., Strengths Finder); consultation with Career & Calling; interviews of professors, people in the workforce, and potential employers; developing a resume; and developing life goals and strategy for moving towards those goals. Assessments will include a reflection paper connecting a liberal arts education with possible career/life paths, a completed resume, and an initial life/career plan based on SMART goals.
