SWA 316 - Child Abuse/Neglect (3)

This course is the second of two specific requirements for the Public Child Welfare Certification Services. Students will learn about various practice skills and treatment interventions related to social work with abused/neglected children and their families. The focus is on the development of assessment, intervention, and prevention skills in child abuse and neglect through public agency involvement.

This course is the first of two specific course requirements for the child welfare certification available through Asbury University and the Department of Social Work.
