ENG 344 - Women in Literature (3)This course begins with Virginia Woolf just a few years after women win the right to vote. From that vantage point we will consider the century of books written by, about, and for women leading up to that suffrage victory. What is a woman capable of? Nineteenth-century literature embraces the challenges and freedoms of answering that question.
