EAS 235 - Equine Assisted Services Practicum (3)

Students will engage in a designed practicum experience that will provide them with hands-on learning experiences and education in the practical components of the three practices of Equine Assisted Services, including therapeutic riding, equine-assisted therapies, and equine-assisted learning. Students will also gain practical experiences related to the management of an EAS program, such as administrative work, volunteer coordination and management, and service coordination, and related to the management of an EAS farm, such as equine and facility care.

Prerequisite(s): EAS100 and EAS102
