PSY 255 - Holocaust Studies Tour: A Social Science Perspective (3)This course, which includes pre-trip readings and meetings, and a post-trip reflection assignment, features an 13 day on-site academic tour of holocaust-related venues in and around Berlin, Germany and Kraków, Poland (including but not limited to: The Jewish Museum of Berlin, Brandenburg Euthanasia Center, Sachsenhausen, Ravensbrück, and Płaszów Concentration Camps, Auschwitz I and II). Pre-trip events include several chapter-length readings as well as multiple (6) pre-trip class meetings for discussion and cohort building. Mid-trip work includes a daily journal (as well as taking part in touring all venues). Post trip work includes a substantial reflection paper of the entire experience.
