THA 252 - Intermediate Acting (3)

Continuing acting studies toward deeper understanding and application of acting fundamentals. First half of semester is development of naturalistic scene work skills including advanced text analysis and its application. Second half of semester focuses on Shakespeare, text analysis, and scene work. Both areas incorporate a more extensive use of movement and physicality along with character development. Monologues used for both areas of study during the semester will be applied to developing audition pieces for stage and film.
