SWA 302 - Social Work Ethics & Contemporary Practice (3)

A study of contemporary issues and trends in social work set within a historical context of the development of the social work field. Emphasis is placed on value and ethical dilemmas of practice and policy issues encountered by the social worker. Attention is given to problem and policy analysis to a wide range of activities and events that influence the quality of life for individuals, groups, and society.

Prerequisite(s): SWA100 and SWA 211. SWA 251 also recommended.
