SWA 100 - Introduction to Social Work (3)

An introduction course designed to study the development of the social work profession and the role of the social worker in society. The values and attitudes of the social worker are explored. The course includes field trips in which the student has opportunity to observe various social service agencies and the role and responsibilities of the social worker within these settings.
