SW 251 - Human Behavior & the Social Environment I: Birth to Adolescence (3)

Study of human growth and activity of the individual as a basis for understanding of oneself and the individuals of society. Emphasis will be on change and growth at different stages across the life span. An interdisciplinary approach examining biological, psychological, sociological, cultural, environmental, and spiritual aspects of human behavior will be used and applied to social work practice and understanding. Several theoretical approaches to explain human behavior and personality development are included.
