SEG 634 - Early Childhood Education of Special Populations (3)

An overview of the special needs of young children including the discussions of historical and empirical support for providing early intervention services; assessment, instructional methodologies, family involvement, and including children with and without disabilities. Attention will be given to assessing and assisting achievement of cognitive, language, social, and motor skills.

Prerequisite(s): SEG 520 or equivalent.
