PSY 368 - Child & School Psychology (3)

This course provides an overview of childhood disorders and introduces students to fields of school psychology and counseling. This course will review the symptom patterns, prevalence, causal factors, and treatment options of behavior and mental disorders in children and teens, while also exploring the roles of school psychologists and school counselors in assessment, consultation, and intervention services within the school setting.

Prerequisite(s): PSY 101 or SOC 100 Recommended: PSY 201, PSY 360, ED 230, SW 251, or SW 252
Grading Method: Letter Grade
