PSY 365 - Adolescence & Emerging Adulthood (3)

This course examines the biological, cognitive, social, spiritual, and psychological development from adolescence into emerging adulthood as well as the roles of history, culture, religion / spirituality, and social experiences in the family, peer group, school, and community in shaping aspects of this development. Emphasis will be given to the theories, research, and general principles associated with development during these two periods of life.

Prerequisite(s): PSY 101 or SOC 100 Recommended: PSY 201, ED 230, SW 251, or SW 252
Grading Method: Letter Grade
