MAT 118 - Math That Matters I (3)

This course offers a survey of various mathematical topics in a liberal arts context with an emphasis on the appreciation of mathematics in everyday lives. Students will work on strengthening their basic knowledge and applications of mathematics while honing their computational skills.

[MAT118 is reserved only for students who do not place into a higher math course. Required of students by placement before proceeding to MAT119 to satisfy Foundations Math requirement. May not be taken as General Elective.]
