LTY 640 - Professional Development Seminar (3)

This course guides the candidate in crafting a professional development plan for gaining additional literacy knowledge and skills through district/school-based opportunities, professional reading, and/or professional conferences. The ILA Standards for the Preparation of Literacy Professionals will serve as a guide to assess the candidate’s present level of development in order to formulate a plan of action for addressing areas of literacy need/interest for implementation in local school contexts and to provide a culminating report on the results.
