EQ 403 - Equine Immunology & Infectious Diseases (3)

A study of equine immunology as it relates to various disease processes. This course is designed to identify diseases of the horse according to their causative agent(s), pathogenesis, and clinical signs of disease. Different systems will be evaluated as well as their roles in the disease process. Prevention and control of disease outbreaks through a thorough understanding of quarantine and vaccinations will also be covered.
Prerequisite(s): EQ 206
Grading Method: Letter Grade
Term Typically Offered: Every other spring
