A study of the principles and function of the stock, bond, mutual fund, derivative, and other major financial markets. Operation of securities markets, monetary policy, interest rates, business cycles, inflation, money supply, stabilization policy, and financial restructuring. Significant emphasis on international applications of financial developments and monetary policies around the globe.
