CHN 151 - Chinese Culture (3)

An introduction to Chinese culture from ancient to modern times. Students will be exposed to the essentials of the geography of China, its music, art, philosophies, and belief systems. The most famous people and events of Chinese history will be studied, along with the country’s most important landmarks. Modern China and its place in the contemporary world will also be examined. All readings and discussions in English.
