LDG 614 - Instructional Leadership (3)

This course provides an orientation for Master of Arts (M.A.) Literacy Specialist candidates to the professional dispositions for teaching, the ILA Standards for the Preparation of Literacy Professionals, and the graduate program for advanced certification. Includes use of the research library and King Curriculum Lab resources for the development of effective instructional leaders for literacy learning across content areas. Emphasis is also placed on the facilitation of developing effective interpersonal communication skills for collaboration and coaching of teachers and key stakeholders for the literacy development of diverse P-12 students.
