For Pre-nursing majors. Basic concepts of general, organic, and biological chemistry for pre-nursing students. Topics include electronic structure of atoms and molecules, periodicity of the elements, stoichiometry, states of matter, kinetics, equilibria, acids and bases, organic functional groups, stereochemistry, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and enzymes. CHE 115/CHE 117 satisfies Foundations requirement for science.
