An introduction to the biology and chemistry of the immune system. Includes discussion of antigen/antibody reactions, antibody synthesis, humoral and cell-mediated immunity, tolerance, the role of the immune system in disease related processes, and immuno-assay procedures. Includes several laboratory exercises.
