MAT 461 - Topics in Mathematics for Middle School Teachers (4)

This course focuses on mastery of standards for mathematical practice and content with the purpose of developing highly qualified middle school mathematics content experts. The clinical course component will pair future teachers with students in grades 6-8 to provide remediation, enrichment, and/or tutoring in mathematics. An action research project will serve as the culmination of this course.
