MAT 460 - Topics in Mathematics for Elementary Teachers (4)

This course focuses on mastery of standards for mathematical practice and content, with the purpose of developing highly qualified elementary mathematics content experts. The clinical course component will pair future teachers with students in grades K-5 to provide remediation, enrichment, and/or tutoring in mathematics. An action research project will serve as the culmination of this course.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 201 and MAT 302 with a minimum grade of C.
