CHE 104 - Introduction to Forensic Science (4)Introduction to forensic science. Emphasis is given to the basic principles of scientific investigation, and their application in the forensics. Includes crime scene techniques, ballistics, arson and explosives, blood spatter, blood chemistry, toxicology, soils, trace evidence, chain of custody. Laboratory course, including scientific procedures of observation, developing a hypothesis, experimentation, analysis of results and drawing a conclusion. Satisfies Foundations requirement for science.
