The Honors Program Checksheet

The Asbury University Honors Program (AUHP) is a themed enrichment program (Studies in Virtue and Human Value) involving seven components (see below). The AUHP Core Courses can potentially substitute for Foundations requirements and are designed to address questions such as the following: “What does it mean to live the good life?” “What gives people value?” “What are the implications of finding value in ourselves and others?” This program allows the student to pursue the spiritual, moral, social, and ethical dimensions of the human experience. Admission is selective.

*Students must maintain a 3.3 GPA measured annually at the end of the spring semester.  A one semester probation is granted to remain in the program.
